League leaders Livingston were held to a 0-0 draw at home by second-placed Brechin.
The result leaves the home side huge favourites to win the division and almost certainly brings to an end any hopes the visitors had of overtaking them.
Livingston had a chance to break the deadlock after 12 minutes, but striker Kenny Deuchar's header missed the target following Joe Hamill's corner.
Deuchar again went close on the hour mark, but his effort from 25 yards was saved by Brechin goalkeeper Craig Nelson.
Brechin struggled to make chances throughout the match. Their best opportunity came 13 minutes from the end when substitute Daniel McKay's shot was blocked by Livingston defender Jason Talbot.
