Dunfermline V Brechin at East End Park - Match Preview

Scully shakes off injury

Dunfermline goalkeeper Ryan Scully is expected to overcome the injury that saw him substituted at Airdrie last week and take his place between the sticks against visitors Brechin.

Pars' manager Jim Jefferies has a full squad to choose from as Ryan Thomson and Faissal El Bakhtaoui are both available after shaking off knocks.

Jefferies said: "Brechin are a good footballing side who hit back to get a point against us earlier this season.

"We should have killed them off and there are other games where we should have killed teams off. Hopefully the players have learned from it."

Brechin will be without winger Bobby Barr, who is suffering from a groin problem.

Everyone else in the Glebe Park squad is available to manager Ray McKinnon, who is looking for his men to turn improved performances into wins.

McKinnon said: "We have turned the corner in terms of how well we are playing after a slow start to the season.

"We now need to take the next step, which is to start winning games and climbing the table.

"It will be tough as Dunfermline are going well, but if we play like we can and are more ruthless then we can win."
