Ferguson ready to feature
Brechin will include Ryan Ferguson in their squad to face Dunfermline.
Ferguson, released by Dundee United, has been signed after impressing as a trialist last week when City defeated Ayr 3-1, however the injured Alan Trouten misses out again with a groin injury.
Manager Ray McKinnon said: "We have picked up six points from the last six so we are going into this game with confidence. We have come close to beating Dunfermline earlier this season and will look to do it this time."
Dunfermline have added defender Jonathan Page to their squad following his release from Morton.
Page could come straight into the starting line-up as Calum Morris is absent due to a hamstring injury.
Kerr Young is available after a ban and Ryan Thomson proved his fitness when he returned to training on Friday, however Faissal El Bakhtaoui completes a two-match ban.
Manager Jim Jefferies said: "We are looking to bounce back after a disappointing defeat from Airdrie. Hopefully that game will act as a warning to the players that they have to be up for every match."
