Brechin v Dundee Preview

Last updated : 01 October 2005 By BCM
City welcome Dundee to Glebe Park tomorrow (Well, technically today as I am currently writing this at nine minutes past midnight!) in which has been a much anticipated encounter between the two sides. Dundee were relegated from the SPL last season and hoping to bounce back up at the first time of asking under the management of Alan Kernaghan.

City have no injury worries and have Grant Johnson back into contention after being suspended and having work committments in the past few matches which has stopped the influential midfielder keeping up his good form of late. Dundee however, are not without their injury problems and Kernaghan has a real headache. The BBC site reported:

Dundee midfielders Kieran Keane and Jacinto, plus striker Tom McManus, will all undergo fitness checks.

Defender Steve McNally may return after an ear infection, but goalkeeper Derek Soutar, defender Lee Wilkie and striker Gavin Swankie remain sidelined.

City are still looking for their first win of the season and this will be a tough task to get the first three points on board.
