Brechin City have been given permission for on-loan Hibs defender Ewan Moyes, if fit, and on-loan Aberdeen striker Anthony Bolger to play against Annan. However, the Easter Road side have not allowed full-back Callum Booth to play and Charlie King remains absent.
For Annan, goalkeeper Craig Summersgill is struggling with illness, Aaron Muirhead is a doubt and Chris Jardine must pass a fitness test.
Queen of the South have not permitted striker Sean O'Connor to play.
Brechin assistant manager Kevin McGowne: "The manager Jim Weir went down and watched Annan recently and identified that they have lively forwards in David Cox and Ian Harty and also that they carry a big threat at set pieces.
"If we do not play at the level we can then we will struggle."
Annan manager Harry Cairney: "We have played well in our last couple of games so it is disappointing that I may be forced to change things against a more than decent, well-organised Brechin side that does not give much away."
