Brechin City have signed Rangers striker Daryll Duffy until the end of the season and should feature in tomorrows match against St Mirren at the Glebe.
Campbell is using all of his experience and extensive contracts to improve his squad but is struggling to get the quality of players he believes will turn around City's season.
He is reluctant to bring in new faces for the sake of change and the arrival of Daryll Duffy may have the added benefit of giving the current striking line up the impetus of increased competition for places.
Successes in last years promotion squad have already been allowed to leave Brechin and now Campbell has revealed that last years top scorer Chris Templeman is attracting more interest from other clubs.
Although Stevie Hampshire is fit again and will take place in tomorrows game, Campbell has a limited number of choices in attack and the arrival of Daryll Duffy may be the catalyst for an improvement not just in attack, but all round.
